Shooting in Big Lair
Big Lair is the larger of the two stages at 922 Dragon Studios: 2,744 square feet on a 49 by 56 foot floor, with a cyclorama wall and a lighting grid at 18 feet 3 inches. It is built for commercials, film and TV, music videos and shoots with a vehicle in them.
Vehicles and big builds come straight in through a drive-in door at ground level, 14 feet high and 16 feet wide. Power is three 150 amp, 3-phase services, cam-lock with reverse ground.
Every booking includes a client room, the Client Kitchen for lunch and craft service, a hair and makeup room, and two production offices. Food shoots can add One Monster Prep Kitchen, steps from the stage. Cameras, grip and electric can be rented from 444camera.com and electriclight.com and be waiting at the stage when the crew arrives.
